Data Collection
Soladex collects information necessary to provide our solar energy forecasting and monitoring services. This includes your name, email address, location data, utility provider information, and solar system specifications. When you connect third-party monitoring hardware (such as Enphase, Tigo, or Smappee), we access energy production data from those services on your behalf.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to generate personalized Solar Power Index forecasts, provide system monitoring and alerts, and improve the accuracy of our predictions. We analyze aggregated, anonymized production data to enhance our forecasting models. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Protection of Personal Information
We employ industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only. Our infrastructure is hosted on secure, SOC 2-compliant cloud providers with regular security audits.
Third-Party Integrations
When you connect your solar monitoring system to Soladex, we access data through official APIs provided by the hardware manufacturer. We only request the minimum permissions necessary to provide our services. You can disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings.
Privacy Policy Changes
- Soladex reserves the right to update this privacy policy as our services evolve.
- We will notify users of material changes via email and in-app notifications.
- Continued use of the service after policy changes constitutes acceptance.
- Users may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting support@soladex.co.
